The Prime Design AluRack Van Rack features an all-aluminum construction with anodized finish to add extra corrosion and wear protection. The aluminum build is around 30% lighter than comparable steel racks, keeping the overall weight on top of your van minimized. The crossbars are extruded for added strength and tapered to add a sleek, efficient design that keeps wind noise to a minimum.
The standard rear roller load bar helps you load long, bulky items by spinning as you push cargo up and over the rack. This increases safety and usability for near effortless loading. No need to use the drill when installing the AluRack, as this van rack is designed to use your factory gutters and mounting points. To further establish a secure and durable rack, the AluRack withstood crash testing of 400 lbs. at 11 mph without the rack or cargo shifting.
The Prime Design Conduit Tube is a great option for your AluRack. The Conduit Tube has an aluminum construction and mounts directly to the AluRack with the provided hardware. The steel reinforced end caps can be locked with a padlock (not included) and comes in 8, 10, and 12 foot lengths. The 5" square tube also offers more storage capacity than standard 6" PVC carriers.Â
